How do I add a friend?+
Open Home in the app and type their username and 4-digit tag, like Alex#1234, in “Add a friend”. They become your friend once they accept. Your own tag is shown right there to share.
I forgot my password+
Send us a message with the form below, using the email address of your account. We'll help you get back in.
How do I delete my account?+
Send us a request with the form below from the email address of your account. Deleting is permanent: your own servers are deleted too.
Voice or video doesn't connect+
Allow ChatLink to use your microphone and camera when your browser or the app asks. On strict networks (school, work) calls may be blocked; try another network or the Windows app.
Push to talk only works when ChatLink is in front+
Browsers only see your keys while their tab has focus. In the Windows app, push to talk works everywhere, also in games.
Are there limits?+
Right now you can own up to 5 servers, be in up to 100, and share files of up to 500 MB (2 GB in total per person). These limits may change.
Is ChatLink free?+
Yes. There are no ads and we don't sell your data.
